A thrilling crossover trek connecting lush Kullu Valley with the barren Lahaul Valley through a dramatic high-altitude pass at 4,270m.
Drive from Manali to Jobra (3,300m) through pine forests. Set up camp, acclimatisation walk along the Rani Nala stream in the evening.
Trek through stunning oak and pine forests following the Rani Nala to the beautiful alpine meadow of Balu ka Ghera (3,600m). Overnight camp.
The highlight — steep climb to Hampta Pass (4,270m) with 360° Himalayan panoramas. Descend into the lunar landscape of Lahaul Valley to Shea Goru camp.
Trek through the dramatic, barren Lahaul landscape following the Chandra River. Camp at Chatru on the banks of the Chandra.
Optional excursion to the stunning Chandratal Lake (4,300m). Drive back to Manali via Rohtang Pass. End of trek.
