Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Shimla to Narkanda

Drive from Shimla through apple orchards and pine forests to Narkanda (2,700m). Acclimatisation stop.

Day 2

Narkanda to Kaza via Reckong Peo

Long scenic drive to Kaza (3,800m), the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Briefing and rest.

Day 3

Key Monastery and Kibber Village

Visit the iconic Key Gompa (4,166m) — the largest monastery in Spiti. Explore Kibber village, one of the world's highest motorable villages.

Day 4

Chandratal Lake Day Trek

Trek to the crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake (4,300m) — one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in India. Camp nearby.

Day 5

Langza and Komic Fossil Villages

Explore the fossil-rich village of Langza (4,400m) and Komic, one of the world's highest permanently inhabited villages.

Day 6

Pin Valley National Park

Wildlife safari in Pin Valley — habitat of the elusive snow leopard and Himalayan ibex. Visit Pin Monastery.

Day 7

Return via Rohtang Pass to Manali

Spectacular drive back through the Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass to Manali. End of expedition.
